Over the last month over a dozen folks have been working and playing with me developing and rehearsing WaterBody, and our debut draws near! We have a whole day of fun free activities planned for World Water Day on March 22 celebrating our ever refreshing, miraculous, life-giving local WaterBodies!

From 10am to Noon join Lina Azeez of Watershed Watch Salmon Society, for a tour of Katzie Slough. From Noon to 3pm, at South Bonson Community Centre in Osprey Village, Pitt Meadows, bring the family to enjoy free refreshments, music and story-telling, our interactive Community Art Performance Piece WaterBody, followed by a screening of the award-winning documentary Lost Rivers.

My fellow Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows artist in residence Rebecca Fisher will be on-site with some hands on art opportunities including the Community Yurt Project, and you can add to our WaterWish Stream.
